Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Measurement ID G-T0K3MR87SG, only after you select Accept analytics. GA4 helps us understand page views, traffic sources, device and browser categories, approximate location, and interactions with site links and forms.

The first version records these custom events:

starting and successfully completing the Kit email signup;
clicking PDF links;
clicking disclosed Trip.com, Airalo, and Holafly affiliate links;
clicking YouTube links; and
clicking prominent calls to action.

We do not send the email address entered in the Kit form to Google Analytics. The GA4 integration disables Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals. Advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization remain denied. The GA4 property is configured for 14 months of event-data retention.

If you decline, the Google tag is not loaded and Google Analytics cookies are not set. If you revoke a previous acceptance, existing first-party GA cookies are removed and the page reloads without the Google tag.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled separately by the website’s hosting platform. It is designed as cookie-free analytics, so the Google Analytics choice above does not control it.

YouTube embeds

Some guides include embedded YouTube videos. YouTube embedded videos may set cookies or use similar technologies when visitors play or interact with videos.

The Resources page includes an email signup form provided by Kit (formerly ConvertKit). If you submit your email address through that form, Kit processes the information needed to provide the signup service under its own privacy practices. Any cookies or similar technologies associated with the form may depend on Kit’s current service configuration.
