Affiliate Disclosure

China Survival Guide uses affiliate links for selected travel services. This page explains what that means.

What this means

Some links on this site may be affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase or booking, China Survival Guide may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links never change the price you pay.

How I choose recommendations

Recommendations are based on relevance, practical usefulness for visitors to China, and my own judgment — not on which link pays the highest commission. Content on this site is written to be a practical guide first.

Current affiliate services

The site currently uses affiliate links for Trip.com, Airalo, and Holafly. Recommendations are included only where they are relevant to the travel task. Prices, availability, coverage, booking terms, and refund policies are controlled by the service provider and may change.

Using an affiliate link does not affect the price you pay. You are responsible for checking the provider’s current terms and confirming that the service is suitable for your trip.

Affiliate links currently relate to selected tools mentioned on the Resources page, including travel eSIMs and booking platforms.
